Approximately 500 local area 8th grade students were able to "touch the future" today as they met with representatives from a variety of career fields. Steve Kass from REMC1 was on hand to discuss careers in System Administration, Computer Science and Computer Programming. Steve said: "It was exciting watching the students take interest in an IT career. Their curiosity and excitement was refreshing!" |

We are very pleased to present the 2011 REMC SAVE bid total savings for the REMC1 region. We exceeded last years savings by over $100,000, for a grand total of $577,907 in savings on purchases over $1.6M! |
