Local savings using the Statewide bid |

The REMC 'bid' is a statewide project, aggregating demand of schools all over Michigan to provide additional savings on materials that schools need. REMC #1 continues to promote the available savings and other value-adds of the REMC Statewide $AVE bid. The bid calculates savings not from the standard list prices, but from the actual educational list price.
Our local districts increased their savings from just over $290,000 in 2007, to over $490,000 in 2008. This savings provides more dollars back to other education needs.
