A musician or teaching a high school band? Check out the Mutopia Project: http://www.mutopiaproject.org/ So we all have a very clear understanding my participation in instrumental or choral music is limited to the audience. I consider it a successful concert if I do not clap between movements (you can't fool me!) Luckily my children inherited their understanding and musical abilities from their mother instead of me. With that said, check out Mutopia. http://www.mutopiaproject.org/ As copyrights expire, people can duplicate and use sheet music without cost. Mutopia is posting sheet music from Beethoven, Bach, and others. When I lasted visited there was almost 1000 works that could be downloaded (as PDF), and new music is being uploaded regularly. If you want to contribute to the effort, they use a type setting tool called lilypond (http://lilypond.org/web/) that is also free. Scott
